Cage Counter Reach-Over Theft

How it works

A thief approaches the cashier’s cage, engages the cashier in conversation or transaction, then reaches over or through the counter opening and grabs chips that are momentarily exposed. In the November 2025 Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood case, suspect Kamal Lundy attempted to cash in chips at a cage window, then briefly walked away, returned, and reached over the counter to grab chips from the cashier’s cage area. He later attempted to cash out $6,005 worth at another cage before being apprehended.
