Part II: Table Game Cheating · Dice & Craps Cheating Methods
Post-Result Hop Bet Claims
How it works
A non-collusion variation where the player claims to have called a hop bet that was never properly placed or acknowledged. After a winning hop bet combination appears, the player insists they called the bet verbally but the dealer failed to place it. In a busy or chaotic game, a lenient dealer or floor supervisor may honor the claim and pay the bet retroactively. This is particularly effective at crowded tables with multiple players calling bets simultaneously.
