Entertainment City (also known as Bagong Nayon Pilipino) is a 100-hectare gaming and tourism development zone in Paranaque City, Metro Manila, envisioned as the Philippines’ answer to the Las Vegas Strip and Macau’s Cotai. The zone was master-planned by PAGCOR as a dedicated integrated resort district and currently houses four major IRs: City of Dreams Manila (Melco), Okada Manila (Universal Entertainment), Solaire Resort & Casino (Bloomberry), and Newport World Resorts (Megaworld/Travellers). These properties offer luxury hotels, casinos, retail, dining, and entertainment venues.

In practice

Entertainment City has positioned the Philippines as Asia’s second-largest gaming market after Macau. However, development has been slower than anticipated and some planned properties have been delayed.
