Exclusion List (Barred Patron List)

A database of individuals who are prohibited from entering a casino property or participating in gaming activities. Exclusion lists include self-excluded individuals (who voluntarily requested exclusion due to problem gambling), involuntarily excluded individuals (barred by the casino or regulator for cheating, disruptive behavior, or other violations), and third-party exclusion entries (such as excluded family members or individuals subject to court orders). Surveillance and security personnel must familiarize themselves with exclusion list photographs and be vigilant for listed individuals.

Most U.S. states maintain statewide self-exclusion databases; properties may also maintain their own exclusion lists. In Asia-Pacific, exclusion list enforcement varies by jurisdiction with Macau and Singapore having formal regulatory frameworks.
