GGR Per Visitor / GGR Per Available Room (GGRPOR)

Marketing Metrics

Gaming revenue efficiency metrics that normalize GGR by visitation or capacity measures. GGR per Visitor divides total GGR by the number of visitors to the property, indicating the average gaming spend per person entering the casino. GGR per Available Room (analogous to RevPAR in hotels) divides GGR by the number of available hotel rooms, useful for integrated resorts where room inventory drives visitation. These metrics enable comparison across properties of different sizes and are used in revenue management and marketing effectiveness analysis.

In practice

In Macau, total visitation (35.8 million in 2018, with 25.3 million from mainland China) is a key denominator for market-level GGR per visitor calculations used by analysts and regulators.
