Integration
AML/CFT
The final stage of the money laundering process, in which the previously laundered funds are reintroduced into the legitimate economy in a manner that makes them appear to have been derived from lawful sources. In a casino context, integration occurs when a patron cashes out chips, withdraws from a front money account, or receives a wire transfer that appears to represent legitimate gambling winnings. At this stage, the money has been sufficiently “cleaned” and can be used for normal business or personal purposes without raising suspicion.
