An employee responsible for independently examining and evaluating the casino’s financial records, operational procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and fraud prevention. Internal Auditors review cage transactions, count room documentation, slot meter readings, player rating data, comp authorizations, and financial reports. They report findings to management and the board, recommend corrective actions, and verify that previous audit findings have been resolved.
