Line Bet (Six-Line Bet / Sixainne)

An inside bet covering six consecutive numbers that form two adjacent rows of three numbers on the betting layout. The chip is placed on the outer corner intersection of the two rows at the line separating them. A winning six-line bet pays 5:1. In French roulette, this bet is called “Sixainne.” The line bet provides broader coverage than smaller inside bets while still offering a meaningful payout. It is commonly used by players seeking to cover sections of the layout with fewer chips. Like all roulette bets, the house edge is 2.70% on European roulette and 5.26% on American roulette.
