Pair Plus
Poker (Three Card Poker)
An optional side bet in Three Card Poker that pays based on the player’s three-card hand alone, regardless of the dealer’s hand. The Pair Plus bet wins on any pair or better, with payouts increasing for stronger hands: Pair (1:1), Flush (3:1 or 4:1), Straight (6:1), Three of a Kind (30:1), and Straight Flush (40:1). Some paytables include a Mini Royal (A-K-Q suited) at 50:1 or higher.
In practice
The Pair Plus is resolved independently of the main Ante/Play game. Players may bet Pair Plus alone (with an ante) or in combination with the main game. House edge varies significantly (2-7%) depending on the paytable offered.
