Part II: Table Game Cheating · Dice & Craps Cheating Methods
Late/Lay Bet Manipulation
How it works
Lay bets (betting that a 7 will roll before a specific number) are paid at true odds minus a 5% commission. A cheater may attempt to place a lay bet after the point is established when the odds are favorable, or a complicit dealer may accept a lay bet late. The cheater might also attempt to reduce or remove a losing lay bet without commission. Because lay bets are less common and more complex, dealers may be more prone to errors or manipulation.
