Part II: Table Game Cheating · Dice & Craps Cheating Methods
Palm Switch (Single-Hand)
How it works
An extremely difficult sleight-of-hand move where the cheat holds TWO pairs of dice in one hand - one pair palmed in the hand and the other held at the fingertips. When reaching for the dice on the table, the cheat appears to simply pick them up. Through practiced finger manipulation, the two pairs are swapped - the straight dice are palmed away while the gaffed dice are brought to the fingertips and then thrown. The entire exchange happens in a fluid motion lasting less than a second. This move requires years of dedicated practice to execute without detection.

On the record
Considered the “holy grail” of dice switching techniques. Only a small number of professional dice mechanics in history have mastered this move to casino-deployment level.
