2.2 Resorts World Sentosa (RWS)

Resorts World Sentosa is one of Singapore’s two integrated resort casino complexes, operated by Genting Singapore (a subsidiary of Malaysia’s Genting Group). Opened in January 2010, RWS features a casino, Universal Studios Singapore theme park, the S.E.A. Aquarium, six unique hotels, and multiple entertainment venues. The casino is smaller than MBS’s and targets a more family-oriented resort demographic. RWS has focused more on the premium mass and regional VIP markets rather than competing directly with MBS for international high rollers.
