A comprehensive network of electronic sensors and notification devices designed to detect and alert security and surveillance personnel to unauthorized access, emergencies, equipment tampering, and other security events. Casino alarm systems include door contacts, motion detectors, panic buttons, glass break sensors, and environmental monitors. Alarms are integrated with the VMS to automatically trigger camera recording and display affected camera feeds on surveillance monitors.

Count room doors in most jurisdictions are alarmed to signal the surveillance department whenever opened; Singapore requires continuous audio and video alarm capability.
