Combination Bet (Two-Dice Combination / Domino Bet)

Sic Bo

A bet that two specific different numbers will appear on at least two of the three dice. For example, a combination bet on 2-5 wins if the dice show any combination including both a 2 and a 5 (such as 2-5-1, 2-5-3, 2-5-4, 2-5-6, 2-2-5, or 2-5-5). The combination bet pays 6:1 in most jurisdictions and has a house edge of approximately 16.67%. This bet is also known as a “domino bet” in some markets, a “pair match,” or “two faces.” There are 15 possible two-dice combinations, and this bet type is standard on all Sic Bo layouts.

In practice

In Macau, the combination bet pays 5:1 in some casinos (house edge 13.89%) and 6:1 in others. Surveillance should be aware of the specific pay table at their property.
