Currency Transaction
AML/CFT
Any transaction involving physical currency, including but not limited to: cash deposits into front money accounts; cash payments on markers or other forms of credit; cash redemptions of chips or other gaming instruments; cashing of checks or other negotiable instruments; and currency exchanges. The definition of “currency” for BSA purposes includes coin and paper money of the United States or any other country that is designated as legal tender and circulates, but does not include checks, money orders, or other negotiable instruments. US currency transactions exceeding $10,000 in aggregate during a single gaming day trigger a CTR filing.
