Front Line

Craps

Casino slang and layout terminology for the pass line bet. The term “front line” refers to the pass line’s position at the front edge of the betting layout, closest to the players. Dealers and boxmen commonly use this term when referring to pass line action, as in “front line winner” when a natural is rolled on the come-out, or “front line loses” when a craps number is rolled. The don’t pass line is sometimes called the “back line” in contrast.
