A surveillance monitoring position assigned to cover high-activity, high-risk gaming areas, typically occupied by the most experienced operator on shift. Hot seat assignments include high-limit gaming pits, baccarat tables, busy blackjack pits, and areas where known advantage players or suspects have been observed. The hot seat operator must demonstrate exceptional skill in PTZ camera control, game procedure knowledge, and real-time incident detection.
