House Way
Poker (Pai Gow Poker/Tiles)
The prescribed method by which the dealer must arrange their hand in Pai Gow Poker or Pai Gow Tiles. The House Way is a fixed set of rules that determines how the house splits their seven tiles/cards into high and low hands. Players may request a copy of the House Way rules. When the player banks, they may set their hand however they choose.
In practice
Each casino may have slightly different House Way rules. Surveillance should ensure dealers consistently follow the House Way and that deviations are corrected immediately. Players who ask about the House Way frequently may be advantage players.
