IP Camera (Network Camera)

Systems

A digital surveillance camera that captures and transmits video data over an Ethernet network using Internet Protocol (IP). IP cameras offer significantly higher resolution than analog cameras (up to 4K and beyond), support advanced analytics, and integrate seamlessly with modern Video Management Systems. Casino operators can remotely access IP camera feeds from any networked location, enabling centralized multi-property surveillance operations.

In practice

IP cameras are now the industry standard for new casino installations; Singapore regulations explicitly require digital surveillance systems with sufficient clarity to identify persons and transactions.
