Multiple Transaction Log (MTL)
AML/CFT
A record maintained by casinos to track multiple currency transactions conducted by the same patron during a single gaming day that, when aggregated, may exceed the $10,000 CTR threshold. The MTL enables casinos to identify and report currency transactions that individually fall below the reporting threshold but collectively exceed it when conducted by or on behalf of the same person. Accurate MTL maintenance is critical for CTR compliance and is a focus of independent audits and regulatory examinations.
