One-Roll Bet

Craps

Any wager that is resolved on a single roll of the dice, as opposed to multi-roll bets that may remain active across multiple throws. One-roll bets include all proposition bets in the center of the layout (Any Craps, Any Seven, Horn, Field, Hop bets, and individual number bets on 2, 3, 11, and 12). One-roll bets generally carry the highest house edges in craps and are the primary profit generators for the casino on the craps table. They are also known as “service bets” because they require dealer/stickman service to place.
