Strooker

Craps

Slang for a player who makes bets in an unnecessarily complicated manner, frequently changes bets, gives dealers excessive or confusing instructions, or otherwise creates unnecessary work for the crew. A strooker may constantly call bets on and off, make partial presses, request complicated bet combinations, or fail to make their intentions clear. While not malicious, strookers slow down game pace and increase the risk of dealer errors. Experienced boxmen and dealers develop techniques for managing strookers efficiently, including clarifying all instructions before executing them and maintaining firm control of the game pace.
