Rail Moves / Handing Off

How it works

The dealer steals chips from the table bank or from other players’ bets and “hands them off” to the colluding player - either directly at the table or through a dead drop where the player retrieves them later. Rail moves involve the dealer manipulating chips in the rail (the groove where dealers keep house chips) to create shortages that are later covered. Handing off involves physically passing chips to the player during the normal course of dealing, concealed within the hand-to-hand contact of normal transactions.
