Column Bet

Roulette

An outside bet placed on one of the three vertical columns of 12 numbers on the betting layout. The columns are: 1st column (1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34), 2nd column (2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35), and 3rd column (3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36). A winning column bet pays 2:1. The house edge is 2.70% on European roulette and 5.26% on American roulette. The bet loses if zero or double zero is the result.
