Right Bettor

Craps

A player who bets with the shooter, specifically one who has wagers on the pass line and/or come bets. The vast majority of craps players are right bettors, as betting on the shooter to succeed is considered the social norm at the craps table. Right bettors win when the shooter makes their point or rolls naturals on the come-out. The opposite of a right bettor is a “wrong bettor,” who bets on the don’t pass and/or don’t come, wagering against the shooter. Wrong bettors are often viewed unfavorably by other players despite having a marginally lower house edge on their bets.
