Same Bet

Craps

An instruction from a player to the dealer to leave a winning bet at the same amount for the next roll, collecting only the winnings. For example, if a $12 place bet on 6 wins $14, the player saying “same bet” receives the $14 winnings while the original $12 bet remains on the number. This is distinct from “pressing” (increasing the bet) or “parlaying” (adding winnings to the bet). “Same bet” is the most common response from players after a winning place bet or hardway hit, as it maintains their position without increasing risk.
