Spot (Keno)
Other Table Games
A number that a player marks on a keno ticket as part of their wager. Players can typically select between 1 and 20 spots (sometimes up to 40 in some variants) from the 80 available numbers. The number of spots selected determines the potential payout structure and the house edge. The term “spot” is unique to keno and reflects the physical act of marking a spot on the ticket. Different spot levels (1-spot, 5-spot, 10-spot, etc.) have different probabilities and payout profiles, with certain spot levels offering better expected returns than others.
