Catch
Other Table Games
In keno terminology, a “catch” refers to a number that the player selected (a “spot”) that is drawn as one of the 20 winning numbers. The number of catches determines the payout: catching more spots results in higher payouts. For example, if a player selected 7 spots and 4 of those numbers are drawn, the player has “caught 4 out of 7.” The term is specific to keno and is not used in bingo or lottery games. Payout tables are structured around the number of spots selected and the number of catches achieved.
