Asian Card Games (Pai Gow Tiles)

A specific hand ranking in Pai Gow Tiles consisting of a Teen (12) or Day (2) tile paired with any nine-value tile. Wongs are the fourth-highest hand category, below all pairs but above Gongs and numeric hands. There are four possible Wongs, with Teen Wong outranking Day Wong. A Wong has a numeric value of either 1 or 9 depending on calculation method.

Wongs rank 17th and 18th in the Pai Gow Tiles hierarchy. They are the highest non-pair hands. The distinction between Wong and Gong is critical for dealers — a Wong (paired with 9) always outranks a Gong (paired with 8).
