The traditional stickman call for a roll of 11. The term “yo” or “yo-leven” is used because “eleven” sounds too similar to “seven” when called in a noisy casino environment, and confusion between the two would cause significant betting errors. A roll of 11 is a winning natural on the come-out roll for pass line bets and pays 15:1 as a proposition bet. The stickman’s call of “yo-leven” or simply “yo” is one of the most recognizable elements of craps culture. A proposition bet on 11 alone is less common than horn bets but is available at most tables.
