Part II: Table Game Cheating · Dice & Craps Cheating Methods
Cut-Edge / Razor-Edge / Sawtooth Dice
How it works
Variations of shaved dice where specific edges are altered rather than entire faces. Cut-Edge dice have one edge shaved at 45 degrees while the rest are at 60 degrees. Razor-Edge dice have one edge cut with a razor to create a sharp lip that catches the felt while the other edges are rounded, causing the die to stop rolling when the sharp edge contacts the table. Sawtooth-Edge dice have jagged, saw-tooth indentations along one edge that hook into the felt like a series of barbs, effectively stopping the die from rolling further.
