Push Shot / Puck Shot

How it works

A controlled shot where the shooter pushes the dice forward across the table with minimal or no lift, similar to sliding but with enough forward momentum to reach the back wall. The dice maintain their orientation throughout most of the journey and may only tumble slightly upon hitting the back wall pyramids. The shooter often positions the dice on a specific axis before pushing. A variation is the “Puck Shot” where the shooter uses the motion of pushing the dice like a hockey puck across the felt.
