The most famous advantage play organization in history, using card counting and team play to extract millions from casinos worldwide. How It Was Executed: Started by MIT students in 1979, the team evolved under Bill Kaplan’s management into a sophisticated business with investors, spotters, and big players. They used the Hi-Lo count, the Big Player technique, and experimented with shuffle tracking. At its peak, the team had 80+ players across multiple states.
