The Tran Organization / “Pai Gow John” (2002-2007)
How it works
The largest dealer collusion cheating ring in modern U.S. history, involving false shuffles, bribery, and organized crime techniques to steal approximately $7 million from 28+ casinos. How It Was Executed: Founded by Van Thu Tran and Phuong Quoc “Pai Gow John” Truong in San Diego. They recruited and bribed dealers across multiple states, trained them in false shuffles, and deployed teams to exploit slug control in mini-baccarat and blackjack. The organization had day, night, and graveyard shifts.
