Junket Agreement

The contractual arrangement between a gaming promoter (junket) and a casino concessionaire that governs their business relationship. The agreement specifies the terms of the promoter’s activities, including the commission structure (now capped at 1.25% of rolling chip turnover in Macau), services to be provided, credit arrangements, responsibilities for player conduct, AML compliance obligations, and termination conditions. Under Macau law, gaming promoters must be registered with a specific concessionaire and may only operate under a formal agreement.
