Push

Blackjack

A tie between the player and dealer where both have hands of equal value below 22. On a push, the player’s wager is returned with no win or loss. Pushes are common outcomes, occurring in approximately 8-9% of all hands. If the player and dealer both bust, the player still loses — dealer busts do not result in pushes.

In practice

In some blackjack variants (such as Blackjack Switch or certain promotional games), pushes may be treated differently or may result in losses.
