AI Deepfake Executive Fraud

Emerging & Tech ScamsREPORTEDSkill: High

How it works

The use of AI-generated voice clones and video deepfakes to impersonate casino executives, finance officers or VIP players, bypassing identity verification and authorizing fraudulent transactions. Attackers use AI voice cloning (trained on executive interviews, earnings calls, or social media) to call cage staff or accounting departments. They create urgent scenarios requiring wire transfers, cash releases, or account changes. Video deepfakes may be used for KYC bypass or live verification calls.

On the record

By November 2025, casinos reported daily deepfake attempts. Attackers impersonated CFOs for emergency transfers, mimicked high-rollers for account resets, and used synthetic identities for VIP reward withdrawals. The November 2025 attack wave confirmed deepfake fraud as a daily reality in gaming.
