The people behind the standard

Claudiu Peter Teletin
Founder
Peter is a casino surveillance professional whose background spans operations, investigations and training. At Wynn Macau and subsequently at Galaxy Macau, he progressed from operator to the Special Observation Team investigating collusion, scams and internal theft before moving into shift supervision with additional responsibility for training programs and ongoing investigations.
In 2021 he left shift work to be at home with his young son and built two e-commerce businesses from there, focusing on design, development and digital marketing.
Surveillance, however, remained a constant interest. After extensive research and conversations with former colleagues and surveillance professionals across the region, he set out to develop purpose-built specialised tools for the industry. He spent two and a half years creating them and was joined in 2026 by Jim and Laurentiu. Surveillance Intelligence Asia is the result: detection dashboards, professional toolkits, reference libraries, intelligence briefings and The Desk, its AI surveillance assistant. It is built for surveillance, investigations and compliance teams to catch theft, fraud and collusion before they become losses or regulator findings.

Jim Humiski
Chief Technology Officer
Jim is a technology entrepreneur and polymath with decades of experience building software, leading technical teams and launching technology ventures around the world.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary and began working in the startup world while still at university, becoming the second employee of what would later become the multi-billion-dollar payments company NETELLER. He subsequently joined the dot-com boom in Silicon Valley, where he led projects across industries including finance, automotive, medical, security, telecommunications, gaming and entertainment.
In 2004, Jim relocated to Hong Kong to lead the technical efforts behind NETELLER Asia, serving as CTO while building its technology platform.
Jim thrives in the early stages of building companies, where uncertainty, complexity and limited resources demand creativity, adaptability and the ability to wear many hats. He has since worked with teams and projects across the globe and continues to explore emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and software innovation.

The standard they uphold
Every claim in our intelligence record and reference libraries carries a badge. The badge says where the claim came from, so a reader never has to guess how much weight it will take.
- Verified
- Drawn from a government, regulator, court, intergovernmental document or from a listed company’s own regulatory filing. The source is named and linked.
- Reported
- Drawn from established reporting or awaiting independent regulator confirmation: credible, but provisional. Anything that cannot meet the Verified test is marked this way and says so plainly.
- Analysis
- Professional commentary by a named contributor. Clearly marked as opinion: never presented as fact.
- Advisory
- Professional guidance drawn from operational experience: recommendations and practice rather than factual claims. This content carries the toolkit line and The Desk.
Every entry is researched and written in-house. Nothing here is syndicated, sponsored or supplied by a vendor. And the standard is not a promise we make privately: the full rule is published on this site and so is every correction we have had to make against it. Both are linked below and the corrections page is deliberately as easy to find as the standard itself.
