Part II: Table Game Cheating · Keno
Keno Ticket Marked after the Draw
How it works
The ticket is marked after the winning numbers are already known, then presented as if it had been written before the draw. The claim is for a game that has finished. This is not the Ron Harris method. Harris attacked the machine that picked the numbers. Here the numbers were honest. The ticket was not.

On the record
In Kelley v. State, 348 P.2d 966, decided on 5 February 1960, the Nevada Supreme Court affirmed the convictions of Don Kelley and Robert Edmond Black. They had presented a false keno ticket to the Beck Corporation in Reno and were convicted of attempting to obtain $25,000 by false pretenses. The court said they had marked a winning ticket after the winning numbers were known.
