ADT (Average Daily Theoretical)

Player Tracking & Rating

The average theoretical win generated by a player per gaming day, calculated by dividing the total theo across all trips by the number of days played. For example, if a player generates $600 theo on day one, $400 on day two, and $500 on day three, their ADT is ($600 + $400 + $500) / 3 = $500. ADT is the most widely used metric in player development and marketing for evaluating player value and calibrating reinvestment. A player’s ADT determines their tier status, host assignment, comp eligibility, and the quality of marketing offers they receive. Significant changes in ADT over time signal opportunities or risks that player development teams must address.

In practice

Casinos typically calculate ADT over rolling periods (30, 60, or 90 days). A Host may be assigned to players with ADT of $400+, though thresholds vary significantly by property and market.
