Incliner / Decliner

Player Tracking & Rating

Player trend classifications used by player development and marketing analytics teams. An incliner is a player whose contribution is increasing due to higher ADT, increased visit frequency, or both—a positive trend indicating successful player development or natural escalation. A decliner is a player whose contribution is decreasing—fewer trips, lower ADT, or both—signaling potential competitive defection, dissatisfaction, or changing circumstances. Monitoring incliner and decliner trends enables proactive intervention to support growing players and rescue declining ones.

In practice

Automated trend flagging in player tracking systems enables hosts to receive daily reports on incliners and decliners in their portfolio, triggering appropriate outreach actions.
