Casino Host / Player Development Executive

A casino employee responsible for building and maintaining relationships with valued players to encourage visitation, increase play, and maximize player retention and satisfaction. Hosts act as personal liaisons between the casino and its most valuable patrons, handling reservations, arranging comps, resolving service issues, and extending invitations to special events. A player “coded” to a host receives personalized attention and has their play actively monitored. Host portfolios typically include 200–400 players, with individual hosts focusing on specific ADT tiers or player segments. The host role is relationship-driven and commission-incentivized based on portfolio performance.

Titles vary widely: Casino Host, Executive Host, Player Development Executive, Director of Player Development, VIP Marketing Manager. In Macau, equivalent roles include Premium Direct Manager and International Marketing Executive.
