Compliance Training
Compliance
Mandatory education programs designed to ensure that casino staff understand their AML/CFT obligations, can identify suspicious activities and red flags, know how to report concerns, and understand the consequences of non-compliance. Training must be provided to all relevant personnel at hire (new employee training) and on an ongoing basis (refresher training, typically annually). Training records must be maintained for audit purposes. Content should be tailored to the employee’s role, with frontline staff receiving training on identifying suspicious patron behavior and compliance staff receiving advanced training on regulatory requirements and reporting procedures.
