Straight Flush
Poker
A poker hand consisting of five cards in sequential order, all of the same suit. A straight flush ranks below only a royal flush (which is technically the highest straight flush). In most poker games, a straight flush pays significant bonuses in casino table games — for example, 40:1 in Pair Plus or 50:1 in the 6 Card Bonus.
In practice
In Pai Gow Poker, the Joker can complete a straight flush. The second-highest straight flush (e.g., K-Q-J-10-9 suited) is often called a “steel wheel” when A-2-3-4-5 suited, though this is rare terminology.
