Wheel Bias Exploitation

Dice & Wheel Games ScamsREPORTEDSkill: Low

How it works

Identifying and betting on roulette wheels that have physical imperfections causing certain numbers or sectors to hit more frequently than statistical probability predicts. Teams record thousands of spins, analyzing results for statistical anomalies. A wheel with a slight tilt, worn pocket, or imbalanced rotor may favor specific numbers. Players bet heavily on the biased sector when the favorable conditions are present.

On the record

Joseph Jagger famously broke the bank at Monte Carlo in 1873 by identifying biased wheels. Modern wheels are much more precise, but bias still occurs and is exploited by professional teams.
