1.11 Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG)

Galaxy Entertainment Group is one of Macau’s six gaming concessionaires and one of the region’s largest integrated resort operators. GEG operates Galaxy Macau and StarWorld Hotel on the Cotai Strip and the Broadway Macau. The company was originally awarded one of three initial gaming concessions in 2002 and later granted sub-concessions to Sands China. Galaxy is known for its Galaxy Arena (hosting major entertainment events) and its dominant position in both mass market and premium mass gaming segments. Chairman Francis Lui has been a perennial figure on the Asian Gaming Power 50 list.
In practice
Galaxy Entertainment is widely regarded as one of the most successful and profitable gaming operators in Macau, with strong free cash flow generation and a conservative balance sheet.
