Banker Bet

Baccarat

One of three primary wagers in baccarat, placed on the banker hand to win the coup. This bet pays even money (1:1) minus a 5% commission. It carries the lowest house edge of any baccarat wager at approximately 1.06%, making it statistically the best bet available. The commission is tracked by the dealer using commission boxes or a commission-free alternative may be offered.

In EZ Baccarat and Super 6 variants, the commission structure is modified or eliminated with adjusted rules.
