Baccarat

A commission-free baccarat variant where winning banker bets pay even money (1:1), except when the banker wins with a total of 6, in which case banker bets pay only 1:2 (half the bet amount). This creates an effective house edge of 1.46% on banker bets, higher than standard commission baccarat. The variant is faster because dealers spend less time calculating commissions.

In practice

Known as “Punto 2000” in some European markets. Popular in Australia and parts of Asia where game speed is prioritized. The banker wins with 6 approximately five times per eight-deck shoe.
