Surveillance Officer Collusion
How it works
A surveillance officer abuses their position to relay private information to confederates on the gaming floor: such as hole cards seen on dedicated cameras, or security vulnerabilities. The surveillance officer uses pan-tilt-zoom cameras to zoom in on dealer hole cards during peeks, then relays the information to a confederate player via radio, phone, or pre-arranged signals. The player now has perfect information against the dealer.

A documented case involved a casino surveillance officer collaborating with a dealer and player to cheat at blackjack. The officer used cameras to relay hole card information, allowing the group to defraud the casino of hundreds of thousands over months.
