Financial Action Task Force (FATF)

Licensing & RegulatoryVERIFIED

The intergovernmental body that sets international standards for combating money laundering, terrorist financing, and proliferation financing. The FATF’s 40 Recommendations form the global benchmark for AML/CFT frameworks, and member countries (including the US, UK, EU member states, Australia, Singapore, and others) are expected to implement these standards through national legislation. The FATF also maintains a list of high-risk jurisdictions subject to enhanced due diligence and potential countermeasures. Casino regulators worldwide incorporate FATF recommendations into their AML/CFT requirements.
